In early February, New Creation School in the village of Kichahi celebrated Parents' Day. The students performed songs and dances and recited poetry, along with other activities to showcase all they had learned over the past year. The day was full of much excitement and celebration.

Many of these parents are former slaves and were thrilled to see their children grow and learn. In fact, the Chairman of the Board of the school is a former slave himself. This school has not only provided the local children with a learning opportunity but also allows former slaves to invest in their kids and be involved in their educations. Our schools are good for both parents and kids!
